A good late 19th century striking carriage clock with original travelling case Henri Jacot, no:16814 The case surmounted by a carrying handle over a oval bevelled observation window above a moulded top and glazed sides, all on a moulded base. The 2.75-inch white enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. The twin-train movement with silvered platform escapement, striking the hours on a blued steel gong and sold together with the original travelling case. 18cms (7ins) high.
