A late 19th century French striking and repeating carriage clock Margaine, Paris The case surmounted by a carrying handle over a oval bevelled observation window above a moulded top and glazed sides, all on a moulded base. The 2.75-inch white enamel dial with Roman numerals and 'Breguet style' blued steel hands. The twin-train movement with silvered platform escapement stamped CV, striking the hours on a blued steel gong and sold together with the original travelling case and a key, both ticking and striking. 18cms (7ins) high.
