
A collection of three early 20th-century French timepiece carriage clocks The first two clocks surmounted by brass carrying handles over rectangular observation windows, the simple sides intercepted by bevelled glass observation panels and terminating in moulded bases. Each fitted with a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, one with a later platform escapement and the other with a cylinder escapement, both powered by single going barrel movements and currently ticking. The third clock, housed in its original leather travel case, with oval sides to a moulded base, fitted with a white enamel Roman dial and blued steel hands. The movement with a Swiss lever platform escapement powered by a single going barrel. Currently ticking. 15cms (6ins) high.
