A pewter spire flagon Probably 18th century With plain tapering drum, the double dome lid terminating in acorn finial, the 'chairback' thumbpiece and broken scroll handle with hooded ball terminal, the with remnants of old label, 36cm high overall Footnotes: Provenance Property from the collection of Adrian Bishop, owner of Combe Cottage Antiques in Castle Combe, Wiltshire. Following his retirement from the RAF in 1964 Adrian Bishop and his wife Brenda set up the business the following year, trading until 2001.
