OF NAPOLEONIC INTEREST: A rare early French 19th century white metal mounted coconut cup and cover together wit similarly mounted coconut coffee pot With acanthus leaf finial, carved with rosette and scrolling foliate banding, centred by a medallion portrait of possibly Napoleon or Louis XVIII, with naval scene depicting the disembarkation of Marie Louise Duchess of Parma on the 16th May 1824, the whole standing on tripartite sprouting acanthus leaf feet, together with a similar period white metal mounted carved coconut coffee pot with lambrequin style banding, scrolling and foliate decoration, issuing with beast head spout, the coconut cup, 16.5cm high, 10cm deep, the coffee pot, 19cm high, 16cm deep (2) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
