The firm was particularly well known for its finely crafted reproductions of classical Roman and Greek sculptures, many inspired by discoveries from Pompeii and Herculaneum. Using techniques such as the lost-wax process, their works were popular as Grand Tour mementoes and were also commissioned for institutional collections. The foundry held exclusive permission to cast directly from objects in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples and supplied prominent museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, producing highly detailed and accurate bronzes sought after by collectors around the world.
