Description

A pair of Charles X patinated and gilt bronze chenets Each formed as a square plinth mounted with a ribbon tied oak wreath and club mounts surmounted by Medici style lions, their front paws resting on gilts balls, and flanked to one side with elaborate foliate cast scrolls on everted break front moulded bases, the central section now lacking and with associated chain link support, each 31.5cm high, 47cm wide, 14cm deep overall (2) Footnotes: Provenance Cassio Antiques Ltd., August 1991 (£1,500) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
