A set of late Victorian brass and oak postal scales with weights The scales with U-shaped rectangular pan and small circular weights pan, on shaped pierced twin bracket supports, the upper section with engraved circular plaque inscribed INLAND PARCELS POST LIMIT OF WEIGHT 7lb, the centre inscribed NOT EXCEEDING, 1lb - 3d, 3' - 6', 5' - 9', 7' - 1S., mounted on an oak rectangular plinth fitted two 4lb weights and six graduated weights from 2lb to 1oz, 24cm x 44cm x 25cm approximately For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
