Trading from the 1960's, by the 1970's his business had flourished to such an extent that expanded into a large shop in London's Sloane Street. Influenced by antique classical styles, he re-interpreted these into furniture, lighting and decorative objects utilising unusual and exotic materials alongside resin and fibreglass which were often finished to mimic marble or bronze.
