HANDS & SONS LTD.', '1953' and also: 'ER CORONATION', the stool stamped: '53' and branded: 'ER CORONATION', the stool: 46cm wide x 30.5cm deep x 48cm high; the chair: 48.5cm wide x 39cm deep x 85cm high, (19in wide x 15in deep x 33in high) (3) Footnotes: The offered coronation chair together with its matching stool originally belonged to Mr and Mrs Lorrimer, whilst the vast majority of the additional paraphernalia either depicts this couple, is addressed to them, or in some way pertains to their attendance at this major historical event. Included among this collection of fascinating further items are; some fine photographs depicting Mr and Mrs Lorrimer dressed in their coronation attire; extensive menus; detailed booklets; a painted ceremonial baton bearing the Royal cypher for HM Queen Elizabeth II, and three medals.
