Small Chinese Soapstone Statue

Description

Small Chinese statue carved from soapstone with a figurine sitting on top of a pedestal carved with flowers. The object beside the figure has a large crack and appears to have been repaired, and the figure's head has a much smaller and less noticeable crack and has also been repaired at some point. The edges of the pedestal are somewhat weathered with some chips in some places. See photos for condition details. Total dimensions of the statue are approximately 3.75" x 8.25" x 2.5".
