IMPRESSIVE FOUR BORE DOUBLE BARREL MUZZLELOADER.

Description

SN. NVSN. Cal. 4 Bore. Built with 40" twist steel brls that have concave top rib. Stock is double wedge fastened with steel tip and pineapple finial. Back action locks, hammer, and trigger guard are lightly scroll engraved. Buttstock is point pattern checkered and terminates with its original full steel buttplate. We do not know who made this but believe to be of Belgian or English origin. WEIGHT: Approximately 13lbs. 8oz. LOP: 14-3/4".

Good to very good. Metal surfaces with some light oxidation and appear to have been cleaned long ago. Stocks with handling bumps and minor scrapes but are generally sound. Mechanics function as intended. A cool and most impressive big bore! 6476. ANTIQUE.
