One of the series of annual publicity booklets that were issued by the Dublin and London brewing company of Guinness and issued to people such as doctors & chemists to Promote the benefits of the company's stout.
The booklets were produced to a very high standard of illustration, printing and publishing from 1933-1939, then 1950-1966, after which the Guinness Book of Records continued the tradition.
Every publication from 1933 to 1966 was a high-quality booklet with rhymes, text and cartoons created by some of the top illustrators and writers of the time.
The booklet was designed by Guinness's long-standing advertising agency, S H Benson Ltd, who were behind much of the striking and memorable Guinness advertising of the day.
