Of smaller than normally encountered size. Barrel with two incised wedding rings approximately 6" back from muzzle. Decorative fixed "ramrod". Convex banana lock with filed edges, light floral engraving, gooseneck cock, bridled pan, and spring frizzen. Brass furniture, sideplate with a buckle, probably for a sling. Inlay at wrist. Newer aluminum buttplate. CONDITION: Fair. Stock with brass wire repair at lock and several splice repairs, including a significant piece at butt. Brass with verdigris throughout, iron with mossing and fine pitting mixing with gunmetal grey. Mechanically fine, bore with heavy oxidation.
