This lot features a collection of US Lincoln Head cents dating from 1941 through the early 1960s, contained within a Whitman folder. The assembly includes two primary types of coin: the Wheat reverse (KM# 132) and the Memorial reverse (KM# 201). Mint markings found include Philadelphia, Denver (D), and San Francisco (S). The silver-toned 1943 cents are composed of zinc-plated steel. The set contains several semi-key dates such as the 1943-S, 1949-S, and 1955-S. The 1943 steel cent was a wartime emergency issue struck to divert copper to military production. Metal: Bronze and zinc-plated steel
