Katana dating to the late Muromachi or early Edo period (circa 1550s–1600s), housed in its current WWII-period military mounts with the family crest (mon) on the kashira and also includes the wooden shirasaya storage mounts. The Military mounts include a mint condition officer's tassel used by ranks of Major to Colonel. The blade is unsigned (mumei) and attributed to the Sue-Mino school based on workmanship.
