Teresa Billington-Greig (1876-1964) was leading suffragette and founder of the Women's Freedom League in 1907. She had left the WSPU as she considered the Pankhurst leadership to be too autocratic. In 1906 she was arrested and was the first suffragette to be incarcerated at Holloway Prison. Provenance: second item, Emma A.
