A ca. 1840 English needlework sampler, wrought by Elizabeth Babington 1840 in memory of her father, with alphabet, verse, trees, flowers, hearts and crown, Image 18.5” x 16.5”. Along with a ca. 1800 needlework sampler wrought by Maria Dukes, age 12 in 1800 with verse, house, trees, Image 15” x 14”.

Condition

Both with staining and fading, minor thread loss.
