A 19th century Mexican oil on tin Retablo. Depicts "La Mano Poderosa" or "The Powerful Hand" in which the Holy Family and Anna and Joachim (Mary's parents) observe from the heavens the pierced hand of Christ which pours out blood for the Seven lambs, representing the Seven sacraments of the faithful, among other instruments of the Passion. Unsigned. Wear evident overall, with numerous scratches and losses apparent, as well as some crinkling and bending of the tin, pierced at the top for display. 9 3/4 x 14" high. ESTIMATE $200-300
