
China, 960-1279. Thickly potted with shallow, rounded sides supported on a circular foot rising to an everted rim, all covered in a rich blueish-green glaze. The foot remains unglazed, revealing the reddish-brown ware.
Provenance: The Collection of Sam and Myrna Myers, Paris, France. Acquired between circa 1965-2012.
Condition: Fair condition with old wear and firing flaws including obvious dark spots, a crack of 3 cm to the rim, glaze recesses, and fine crackling. The glaze stained overall.
