Canadian. 1940s-1950s. Pressed steel. This toy was part of the "private-label" series manufactured by Windsor Steel Products for Lincoln Specialties Limited. The "private-label" series was toys with company logos that were used as promotional items – these production runs were typically small, as the toys were not intended for retail consumption. Dowell's Moving was a real company located in British Columbia. While many companies featured on Lincoln toys have ceased operations, Dowell's is one of the few that is still in business as of 2026.
