The brand was owned by Louis Marx & Co., which established the brand in the early 1930s specifically for a line of floor-operated tin and heavy-gauge, pressed-steel toys. The brand name specifically identified toys that were made at Marx’s manufacturing plants in the U.S. and England. Marked, "Marx Toys Made In United States Of America New York, N.Y.", on lower edge of driver's door. Embossed, "Lumar", on tires. From the Yvan Lalonde Collection.

Excellent condition. Colours are vibrant and glossy. Retains three original longhorn steers. Shows pinpoint surface nicks and edgewear.
