
American. 1950s. Pressed steel and lithographed tin detailing, This truck was made by Louis Marx & Co. under the Lumar brand. It was designed to replicate a telephone repair vehicle. The truck's standout feature is a functional bucket lift (used to repair telephone lines). The bucket can be manually raised and lowered using one of the levers on the passenger side. The second lever is to handle the bucket's orientation. Embossed, "Lumar", on tires. From the Yvan Lalonde Collection.
