The soldiers in this set were made in 1963, as shown on the underside, and, as such, have been added as replacements to the original six that would have come with the set. Marked, "Louis Marx & Co., Inc. Glen Dale, W. VA. 26038" and "Marx Toys Made in U.S.A.", on box. Marked, "Marx", on grille. Soldiers embossed, "Marx Toys Made in Hong Kong" and "W.W.
