Canadian. 1946-1948. Pressed steel with wooden block cases. This iconic, red version of the Coca-Cola delivery truck has a label that says "Made in Canada Lincoln Toys". This label identifies Lincoln toys that were made during the brand's earliest production years (1946-1948). This is an early toy that was part of the "private-label" series manufactured by Windsor Steel Products for Lincoln Specialties Limited. The "private-label" series were toys with company logos that were used as promotional items – these production runs were typically small as the toys were not intended for retail consumption. Labelled, "Made In Canada Lincoln Toys", on hood. From the Yvan Lalonde Collection.
