American. Late 1930s-1941. Pressed steel. This toy was an officially licensed product from Greyhound Lines. It was manufactured for a brief period just before the U.S. entered WWII, a time when toys were considered non-essential, and all metals were diverted to the war effort. Embossed, "Kingsbury Toys Keene, N.H. U.S.A.", on tires. From the Yvan Lalonde Collection.
