American. 1901-1912. Pressed steel. The "City Hall Park" was a major transit hub in New York City. The toy was designed as a "summer trolley", mimicking the open-air streetcars that historically carried passengers to scenic or central urban locations. The "175" is an identification or model number used by the Converse company. From the Yvan Lalonde Collection.

Condition
Good condition. Stable paint flakes and oxidation. Destination cards and one wheel are replacements. Three wheels have been repainted. Tested and not working.
