Canadian. 1950s. Pressed steel. This truck was part of Otaco's "private-label" series of toys. These were promotional or display models made for specific companies and not intended for retail sale. As a result, production runs were usually small, which meant fewer examples entered the market. Companies would give these out to their clients and distributors as a form of advertising. Decalled, "Canadian Made Minnitoys by Otaco Limited Orillia Ontario", on inside of trailer door. From the Yvan Lalonde Collection.

Condition
Very good condition. Original paint and decals. Requires rear door latch. Minor impressions to roof of trailer and one significant impression to the roof of cab. Paint nicks and oxidation, particularly at corners and edges. Light oxidation to headlamps.
