Canadian. 1950s. Pressed steel. This tractor-trailer was part of Otaco's "private-label" series of toys. These were promotional or display models made for specific companies and not intended for retail sale. As a result, production runs were usually small, which meant fewer examples entered the market. Companies would give these out to their clients and distributors as a form of advertising. Decalled, "Canadian Made Minnitoys by Otaco Limited Orillia Ontario", on inside of trailer door. Good to very good condition. Original paint and decals. Paint nicks and wear to corners and edges. Minor losses to illustration on driver's side of trailer. Minor impressions to roof of trailer.
