Description
Canadian. 1940s-1950s. Pressed steel. A rare "ride-on" tow truck made by a small Canadian toy company with very little known history. The toy is foot-to-floor operated. While the term is synonymous with the "sit-n-ride" toys, the company made a point of distinguishing the two names through the style of the toy, which features an open (as opposed to a closed cargo area) and an obvious seat for the child to sit on. Decalled, "Richard", on cab doors. From the Yvan Lalonde Collection.
