The first four cues present here (1M1, 1M2, 2M1, 2M2) are credited to Bernard Herrmann, though none of these pages are in Herrmann's hand: the first is scribal, the other three are in Laurie Johnson's hand. Footnotes: Johnson is one of the most highly regarded movie and TV composers of the 20th century. His long career includes writing for the TV shows The Avengers and The New Avengers, as well as Dr. Strangelove (1964). For It Lives Again, Johnson adapted Herrmann's themes composed for It's Alive, the first film in the series, and so is credited as adapter rather than composer for this film.
