Canadian. 1920s/1930s. Lithographed tin. An early pocket tobacco tin, with flip-top lid, from the Imperial Tobacco Company of Canada (founded in 1906). See "Canadian Country Store Collectables [sic]" by Bill and Pauline Hogan, p.16. Marked, "MANUFACTURED BY IMPERIAL TOBACCO CO OF CANADA LIMITED", underneath. All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions. From the late Marcel Gallays Collection.
