Both works are framed and were not examined out of their frames.

The French School View of Salviac has craquelure and areas of dirt and discoloured varnish throughout. There is no evidence of retouching under UV examination.

The landscape by Anne-Marie Gailly-Bernelle has craquelure throughout the surface but especially in the lower quadrant. Under UV light, there appear to be some small areas of retouching, particularly to the grey areas between the foliage of the trees. Please note the work is signed (lower right)
