The stretcher marks are visible with associated paint loss to the lower edge. Further areas of paint loss to the centre left, lower right and bottom of the work with some patches of exposed canvas. Craquelure throughout and scattered scuffs. Inspection under UV reveals a masking varnish which renders potential restoration difficult to read, however there appears to be some infilling.
