GRU - HISTORY: The Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, abbreviated G.U., formerly the Main Intelligence Directorate, and still commonly known by its previous abbreviation GRU, is the foreign military intelligence agency of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. GRU controls the military intelligence service and maintains its own special forces units. Unlike Russia's other security and intelligence agencies - such as the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the Federal Security Service (FSB), and the Federal Protective Service (FSO), whose heads report directly to the president of Russia - the director of the GRU is subordinate to the Russian military command, reporting to the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff.
W.A.BOLIN: "Bolin" is still the supplier of the highest court, only not the Russian one, but the Swedish one. In the troubled revolutionary time of the company was lucky - their rival Karl Faberge left Russia with one bag and cane, but Vasily Bolin managed to leave the country earlier. Soon Bolin had nowhere to go, and the Swedish monarchs still use the company's services. Bolin's jewelry was renowned for its purity of stones, its exquisite design, and its exquisite jewellery. One of the surviving decorations, the famous Vladimir tiara, is now owned by Queen Elizabeth II of England. They say Megan Markle wanted it for her wedding, but the Queen wouldn't let her. Originally, the tiara was a wedding gift for Maria Pavlovna, wife of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich, younger brother of Emperor Alexander III. During the revolution, the Grand Duchess managed to escape the country with the jewels, and her daughter sold the jewelry to her grandmother Elizabeth II - Queen Mary. By the way, the Vladimirskaya tiara on Queen Mary can be seen in the full-length film "Abbey Downton" - an exact copy was made for filming.
CIGAR: A cigar is a rolled bundle of dried and fermented tobacco leaves made to be smoked. Cigars are produced in a variety of sizes and shapes. Since the 20th century, almost all cigars are made of three distinct components: the filler, the binder leaf which holds the filler together, and a wrapper leaf, for appearance and flavor, which is often the highest quality leaf used. Often there will be a cigar band printed with the cigar manufacturer's logo. Modern cigars can come with two or more, highlighting special qualities such as age and origin of the tobaccos used.
