
**Mauser Model 1914 Pistol
.32 ACP. 3.5" barrel length. SN: 439619. Blued finish with nitre blued small parts and nickel finished magazine mounting one piece checkered walnut grips. Simple blowback operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide legend reads WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.-G. OBERNDORF A.N./MAUSER'S PATENT with a further Mauser banner to left frame. Right slide struck with caliber mark reading MAUSER-7,65. Serial numbers match on slide, rear frame, and on magazine, with the latter additionally marked II, indicating it was the spare. Magazine floorplate shows a further Mauser banner mark. Barrel lug shows an overstamped serial number mark, indicating error at the factory or force matching, with a {Crown/U} commercial proof to right lug. Forward gripstrap struck L.G., indicating possible use by the Landjaegerei Gendarmerie, the Rural Police. {C&R}

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Frosty with some patina throughout and crisp rifling. Metal finish displays some internal cycling wear, edge and holster wear to forward slide, brown patina on forward gripstrap, and some light scratches. Grips with some further scratches and wear to checkering.
