A GEM-SET BROOCH
Designed as a perched bird, set throughout with round brilliant-cut rubies and emeralds, square step-cut sapphires and round cabochon turquoise and emerald; measures 3 x 2 3/8 in.

OVERALL CONDITION:
Metals unstamped and tested with XRF (X-ray fluorescence) for 12k gold and gold, silver and palladium alloy; pinback clasps securely; many gemstones moderately to significantly chipped and cracked, in addition to natural surface-reaching inclusions; superficial wear in the form of minor scratches; overall good condition.

ACCENT GEMSTONE: sapphire
Overall color and clarity: blue, slightly to heavily included, with surface-reaching inclusions

ACCENT GEMSTONE: ruby
Overall color and clarity: pinkish and purplish red, moderately to heavily included, with surface-reaching inclusions
