SHAKER PAINTED ARMLESS ROCKER, maple, featuring three arched slats flanked by simple posts and turned finials, retaining likely original woven-fabric seat and cranberry-red painted surface. Probably Alfred or Sabbathday Lake, ME. Second quarter 19th century. 36" HOA, 15" x 20" seat.
