An original Anglepoise desk lamp manufactured in England by Herbert Terry & Sons Ltd, Redditch.
This is an early example, retaining the maker’s cast mark to the column: “MADE IN ENGLAND BY HERBERT TERRY & SONS LTD REDDITCH”.
The lamp features the classic articulated arm with exposed tension springs, allowing it to hold position correctly, together with a heavy stepped cast metal base retaining its original green felt underside.
Finished in original cream enamel with an aluminium reflector and braided cotton flex.
Base width 15 cm Maximum extended height 92 cm
Good original vintage condition, original paint finish.
Some marks in align with age, some rust to original springs.
Original cord wiring, working though we recommend professional inspection prior to installation
