Ferrari 246 Dino / 308 GT4 Restomod Project
*NO RESERVE*
- 246 GT body sections
- 308 GT4 chassis
- F106B engine & gearbox
- No V5C
An intriguing and highly promising Dino-based resto-mod project, centred around the body of an accident-damaged Ferrari Dino 246 GT. Included in the sale are the principal structural elements: front and rear clips, door frames, and bonnet, providing a substantial foundation for a creative and well-engineered build.
The late Eddie Walsh had intended to mount this body onto the Ferrari 308 GT4 chassis included, numbered 8848, creating a unique hybrid with enhanced performance and usability. The GT4 chassis offered is in good, rust-free condition.
Also included in the project are:
- A partially complete Ferrari F106B V8 engine
- Matching transaxle assembly
- A pair of fuel tanks
- A set of four original Ferrari 246 Dino Cromodora wheels
This collection of components presents a rare opportunity for an experienced builder or marque specialist to complete a Dino-inspired resto-mod to their own specification. With a solid chassis, genuine Ferrari mechanical elements, and substantial original body sections already sourced, much of the difficult groundwork has been assembled, leaving scope for a highly rewarding and potentially very special finished car.
