INCREDIBLE PROTOTYPE PASADENA AUTO MAG S/N 25

Description

SERIAL NUMBER: AA00025. BARREL: 7”. CALIBER: 44 AMP. MANUFACTURED: 1970. This incredible first run prototype is described and pictured in Bert Mason's book The Life and Death of Auto Mag. The gun has many early features seen only on the first handful built; note the early roll-die applied markings, a practice that was stopped after the first few built as the dies were breaking. A truly unique and deeply sought after example that can never be improved upon in any way. CONDITION: The stainless steel surfaces rate 99% showing only faint collector type handling evidence. The bore is mint and the mechanical working order appears to be flawless. Appears unfired outside of the factory. C&R
