England, late 19th century, a 10 1/2 inch diameter blue and white plate in Spode's classical Greek pattern, the central cartouche of a warrior driving a chariot. Paired with a lobed-edge serving platter of Chinoiserie design in Spode's Pagoda pattern, the dark-blue village designed 11 inch plate having a gilt rim.
