Royal Copenhagen Blue Flute Full Lace Porcelain Clock, Denmark, 1898-1922, underglaze decorated in blue with a boy holding an hourglass as the final seated atop a domed lace beset with snails, the square sides with mascarons and ring handles within a circular frame, all set on a raised scalloped base, the enameled dial engraved 'W. Q. le Maire Kjobenhayn', painted number 1017 and factory marks, ht. 11 in. Footnotes: The clock case was designed by Arnold Krog and modeled by J. Jacobsen. The faun and masks modeled by C.F.
