Taken from the original and highly detailed and vibrant ‘Pearl blossom Highway, 1986. This stunning Offset lithograph with vivid colours was composed by Hockney from over 800 photographs.
Then compiled to create this visual masterwork detailing Joshua trees in the sandy desert, an assortment of scattered debris such as crushed soda cans, beer bottles, an abandoned container of Castrol motor oil, and an empty case of Bud Light. All of which are relics of travellers who once passed through and left their mark.
