Elisabeth Schaffer. Porcelain, slightly beige body, with blue, irregular threads. Inner base glazed. Marked on the base: incised mark and Schaffer. Austrian ceramist, 1951-1961 ceramics apprenticeship, studied at the Academy of Applied Arts Vienna, participated in international ceramic symposia in Poland, Israel, Sweden, Austria, study trips to Vietnam, Japan, Spain, since 2008 engaged in intaglio printing and lithography. "In the course of my work processes, I observe and research the manifold interactions of bodies (geometric), material and space" (Schaffer quote). Numerous awards, represented in international collections.
