Commemorative catalog for the 100th birthday. - Lit.: Th.-B. XXXVI, p. 198. The animal painter and graphic artist G. Wolf studied at the School of Applied Arts in Strasbourg. He continued his education at the Munich Academy. After several travels, he came to Düsseldorf in 1906, where he became a student of Prof. J.P. Junghanns at the Academy's master class for animal and plein-air painting.
