Sumptuous ruby ring with diamonds
750/- white gold, stamped. Weight: 8.2 g. 1 natural oval-cut ruby approx. 2.8-3 ct. 16 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approx. 1 ct (w/vsi-si). 8 trapezoid-cut diamonds totaling approx. 1 - 1.2 ct. Ring size 58. Very good condition. A current verbal report from the German Foundation for Gemstone Research (DSEF) is available, stating that it is a natural ruby with a note on common heat treatment. Elaborately crafted ring with a centrally set ruby of vibrant color, flanked by brilliant-cut diamonds and accented on the sides by trapezoid-cut diamonds. The combination of different cuts gives the design a particularly sculptural, representative appearance.
