PIANISTS: A very good small selection of three signed 4 x 6 photograps, two of them being postcard photographs, one being an oblong 6 x 4, by three iconic pianists of the 20th Century. Containing Nikita Magaloff (1912-1992) Georgian-Russian pianist. A close friend of Prokofiev and Ravel. He is remembered for his Chopin performances, Claudio Arrau (1903-1991) Chilean Pianist. He is widely considered one of the greatest pianists of the twentieth century, and Alexis Weissenberg (1929-2012) Bulgarian-French Pianist. Herbert Von Karajan praised him as "one of the best pianists of our time". All are signed in bold dark inks to clear areas of the images, Magaloff dating it in 1963 and Weissenberg in 1974. VG, 3
