YSAYE EUGENE: (1858-1931) Belgian Violinist. Known as The King of the Violin. An excellent signed and inscribed 5.5 x 8 photograph, including an A.M.Q., `E. Ysaÿe´, n.p., July 1913. Ysaye has cleanly and neatly signed and penned in fountain pen ink a three bars musical quotation, unidentified. He also marks the musical tempo as `Allegretto´. The attractive photograph shows the Belgian violinist seated, with his violin in hand, in a thoughtful full-length pose. VG
