(1891-1969) Adolf Hitler’s half sister-in-law via her marriage to his half-brother Alois Hitler, and the mother of Alois Hitler's son William Patrick Hitler. A rare vintage photograph (unsigned), 5 x 7 in. b/w, a press photo showing Hitler sitting at her desk on June 24, 1941. According to the legend on verso, the photo was taken ‘ soon after she had begun her first day’s work for the British War Relief Society. Mrs. Hitler points proudly to her Air Britain pin, while a poster-portrait of Winston Churchill looks down disapprovingly. Her work with the Society is voluntary…’. Fine.
